240v well pump -> offgrid

I do not have a bleed hole. Its been so long that I do not remember if there is check valve at the pump. There is definitely a check valve upstream of the expansion tank.

Guys I have a 2HP 240v well pump that has surge current of 23A and run current of 13A. I am looking for an all in one inverter to run it. Or even better a batteryless inveter to run it. Any ideas what type of inverter will do the job? Anyone have experience running 2HP well pumps with an inverter? The well pump is on its own circuit and will not have other house loads on the inverter.

Thank you!
i have a similar situation, did you get an inverter yet?

Reading over this thread: Do not use Sch80 pipe. It's not designed for the starting torque of pump motors. If you want plastic, I'd go with the Sch120 well drop pipe, which is rated for pump start torque. Your local well driller probably has 20' lengths on hand. Bison Pumps (the hand pump mfr) sells 8' lengths. Probably a decent bit more expensive, but if you have a well depth you can pull by hand, it's rather easier to handle.
