24v Pure sine wave inverter_ what would you recommend?

I have a Victron Multiplus 24/3000 I’ll sell cheap to get it out of my garage. I switched my RV from 24 volt to 48 volt so I bought another Victron 48 volt. Send me a PM if interested.

For what it's worth, we got this one:

3000VA Mecer Axpert Pure Sine Inverter + 2x 100Ah Battery Trolley (8 HOUR BATTERY LIFE) KIT - 3000W (150-200 cycles) with the "AGM Deep Cycle (600+ cycles)" upgrade back in 2020.

No need to let me have it, the lead acid battery choice was very poor but we had no choice back then especially since I was working from home...and our load shedding was killing us (and by that I mean it forced me to have to go into the office).

Worked well (we stopped using it actively in 2023) and even still online now for our computers. I just have to remember to give a workout every few months to keep the batteries in check.

All we did was replace the (inevitably dead) batteries with BlueNovas (the difference in weight was something to behold - so light just like my wallet was at the time after buying them).

> +Quiet operation when below around 600W
> - Fans run all the time when going over that amount and can be quite loud when charging (from the grid in our case)
> ~ Decent enough config for charging rate but the WatchPower software we were using was a bit meh.
> Options for Solar but I was too lazy to bother.

I appreciate your post.

Pay once and be done, victron 24/3k multiplus II.

One thing to be mindful is that fridge and freezer may cycle on at the same time when your making pop corn or a cup of coffee, if that’s the case, you need some good surge capacity.
I totally agree with you. I've been reading up on this unit. Please correct me if I'm wrong.I still have to connect a SCC/ MPPT as well to charge from solar. And as far as surge goes, I will have to temporarily disconnect one item if I need to use a large load for example the microwave to balance out the system.
I must say the unit is quite $$$.
But, I do see the long-term use and functionality of the unit.

I agree with the AIO suggestions already made but if you want an affordable standalone inverter that is good quality, I’d suggest a Cotek. I’ve had two of them myself and used them at unattended radio towers in remote locations with flawless operation.

I was on their site earlier. Not a bad choice as well. But, in comparison the victron has my vote.
