24V using OTS Battery case?

I'm looking to build a battery for my RV.
I do like the ease of the off-the-shelf cases that come with everything, but they all come configured for 48V. Like this one:

Has anyone taken one of these and configured them as 2P8S for 24V? The BMS does support 24V, but will the packaging work?

Thanks

I am using 12 diy boxes from Amy@Luyuan 8 are 8 cell 24 volt and 4 are a custom box Amy had made to my specifications. The custom boxes are two 12 volt 304ah in one box for 608 ah at 12 volt. Each has two BMS with screens, two breakers and two on/off switches. Start a chat on Alibaba with her. It takes a little time with the language barrier but she can probably make what you want.

Would you want to do one BMS?

Honestly if you picked up a 16s case you should be able to install 2p8s cells in the case with some more bus bars and one BMS. If you want two BMS in one case you might run out of space for the BMS in the front area, or it’ll be really ready tight.

Any reason why you want one case to hold 16 cells for a 24v system?

Do you have a means to move this around into your RV? It’ll be what +200lbs.

My Luyuan 8s case is right at my limit of moving around by myself 100-110lbs.

If I didn’t have move my case around I’d be in your same situation, 17kwhr in one case is mighty mighty nice set up.

Hey, thanks for the reply. Somehow I didn't see this.

I'm totally open to a 16s case, with. 2p8s config, but I think I'll have challenges with the voltage sensor cables. Can I turn off arbitrary leads in most BMS? I don't think so. I guess I could always use my own BMS leads instead of the provided harness..

I'm sure I can find a way to manage the weight for the install.

But yeah, actually my first design was two separate 8s cases. Original plan was to make cases from 8020.

Two in parallel would make maintenance easier as I could remove only one at a time and still have power.

I guess I haven't seen many 8s that are full featured. Can you recommend one? It seems most is the ones I'm seeing are setup for 48v.

Can you share some pics of your setup?

Sounds like I've for a good luyan option.
