Very new to the solar world!
I have two (2) Litime 12V 230Ah Plus Low-Temp Protection LiFePO4 Battery Built-in 200A BMS, Max 2944Wh Energy
batteries in series for a 24v setup (currently producing around 28v-29v) going to a WZRELB 4000W 24V Pure Sine Wave Inverter,24 Volt DC to AC 120V 240V Split Phase Power Inverter to power a goulds submersible well pump with centripro motor. The well requires 230vac to operate. When i turn on the inverter, it supports any 110v appliance, however, when i turn on the well it drops the voltage down near 180v in waves. i have 2/0 gauge wire connecting the batteries to the inverter and GearIT 12/3 12 AWG wire running from the inverter to the well control box.

I previously had a Y&H 2200W Solar Hybrid Inverter DC12V to AC230V,Off-Grid Pure Sine Wave Inverter with 80A MPPT Solar Charger+AC Charger in the same setup with 1/0 gauge wire connecting everything, however, it stopped working so i swapped it for the above mentioned 4000w inverter.

where am i going wrong with my setup? is there anything i need to do differently???

I would think insufficient battery for the load but your previous inverter handled the well startup load. Chances are while the new inverter has "4000W" rating it's surge performance is lacking versus the old unit.

thoughts on a soft start?
