The California Self-Generation Incentive Program (SGIP) offers incentives to homeowners. Qualifying technologies include wind turbines, waste heat to power technologies, pressure reduction turbines, internal combustion engines, microturbines, gas turbines, fuel cells, and advanced energy storage systems.
Ran across an Enphase Encharge web page on it... guess now the Encharge battery is out there to compete with Powerwalls it makes sense. Purchased with solar it's applicable for the 2020 26% federal rebate.
The CA incentive isn't just for Encharge of course, probably every type of qualifying system has a similar web page to describe the program and walk homeowners through it. Still if you live in CA, seems like a good time to think about taking the plunge.
