I ordered 8ea @ 280ah from Ali and a Daly 8s 24v 150a BMS planning on a 2000w psw inverter for my cargo conversion to toy hauler/camper with a 2s2p 800w array, then upped my array to 1320watts on a whim and a deal (165w 4s2p). Then I got greedy and ordered another 8ea 320ah thinking I could use the one BMS in a 2p8s system, not remembering I’d need to upsize the inv to 3000 for the additional load I’m planning. So now I’m not sure how to proceed. I have bought 2,4,&6awg cable wire, 10awg pv wire, lugs, connectors, busbars, 300a ANL fuse block, and all of the above except the inverter (batts are still on the boat). A 150/60 SCC will work fine. I think a 3000 psw inv will require a larger BMS for the 2p8s, maybe 250a?, and perhaps 2/0 wire? With a T fuse? Should I be considering 8s2p instead with a second identical BMS? What would that entail? Is it even possible with the 40ah diff in batts? I’d like to make judicious decisions from here on out. Maybe I need a controller… Thanks
