Have a 2s2p array. 370W. Voc 48.82V, Isc 9.87A 4 panels total.
One panel needs replacement.
Was going to use 340W with Voc 46.6V, Isc 9.49A
So, one string will combine in series the 370 specs with 340 specs. The lowest current takes precedence, 9.49A.
The voltages differences of these dissimilar panels is minor, so is the current.
Our concern is MPPT tracking. How will this combo effect that given minor differences?
Your thoughts?
Thank you.

I don't think you will have any problems.
The differences between the new panel and the existing ones are minor. The MPPT will try to make the best of what you have, just as if previously, maybe one panel was shaded a bit.

You and your MPPT would probably not even notice the difference.

My rough numbers using stated Voc and Imp (should use Vmp and Imp) show that you'll get 94% of what you were getting with 4x370W.
"should use Vmp and Imp"
Had thought of that too.
370W Vmp 39.66V, Imp 9.33A
340W Vmp 38.20V, Imp 8.90A

Thank you for your input (no pun intended).
