I have four; Q Peak Duo BLK ML-G10.a+ 400W panels. I'd hoped to get them in direct sun on the roof but at the moment I must have them ground mounted. now I have to consider shade that will affect them. I'd planned on running them in series on the roof to keep the wiring 10 gauge but now they will be on the ground and there will be transient shade from the neighbors trees. Below are three I've mounted, the tree reflections are from the trees behind.
If the panels are in series will the output will be affected by shade on one or more panels? If yes, will having them paralleled be any better for me? Is there anything I can do to mitigate the loss from shade on some panels?
Thanks
