YES that's where i ordered my last 32 from ... obviously not not GRADE A as we mean it but I give them a A- only for cosmetics ... all 32 eventually tested fine with no issues ... no I don't know if i was just lucky or these were just originally batteries with some blemishes or issues or whatever and they fixed it ... like i said earlier - they do not have a QR code and its apparent that the black label on top was recently attached by NOT the manufacturer ... BUT with that said -- they had good busbars - all the voltages tested out -- and the aH tests all came back within specs +/- a few aH .. so for the price I am happy with that...

The only thing that disappointed me was that STARMAX stated that they were a MANUFACTURER when obvious they are a reseller .... could just be a language issue since the Chinese language has allot of words that mean allot of things ...

The more I think about it these may be GRADE A that STARMAX did not want me to know where they actually got them so they took off the QR label and the black cover ... Now that makes sense

Thanks for the quick reply back. I did notice that the life cycle is only 2000 instead of 3500 like their title stated. Am I missing something? I know the other sellers like Amy has in their details for 3500 cycles.

It doesn't matter what any supplier's titles states or their descriptions. Everyone should request the manufacturers spec sheet for the cells they are interested in and study it carefully. Spec sheets have been posted on this forum and there are some in the resources section.

In some cases the cells will age before put through 2000 cycles. If the cells are kept between the knees cycle life is increased. If a 2000 cycle cell is fully charged and discharged every day it will last for 5.5 years and still have 80% capacity if it's in ideal temps.

I am going to attach a spec sheet for the EVE LF 280L cell I find interesting and I think this is one of their newer cells. Under ideal temps and compression, EVE claims a greater than 6000 cycle life.

I ask because the price is great but the cycle time is 1/3rd that of new LiP04 batteries I have seen.

To be honest this was my first order with Amy. Even tho she was not the cheapest she was offering guaranteed and PayPal payment which was not something everyone was doing. Plus these are about $130pcs from EVE directly. I am assuming she is taking in lots of them and making profit that way.

Anyways this was the sweet spot for me. You might have better luck on these $90sh/pc

Because the cheaper ones are 'commodity' cells, meaning they probably don't pass some aspects and are not matched and batched. That said, many of us, including myself have no problem using them for solar applications.
