I can buy used 240 Watt panels for $90 each (2011)
https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/ele/d/kent-used-240w-solar-panels/7299424842.html

Solar pane specs:
Watts: 240
Volts: 30.4
Amps: 7.9
VOC 37.7
Isc: 8.4
MaxFuse: 15A

And I'm thinking of connecting them in series: 3x30.4V for 91.2 V @ 7.9A

And will be connecting to Hybrid 2424

With Max Voc: 145 DC
MPPT range: 30~115VDC
Max PV charging current: 80A

Anyone seeing a problem connecting these 240 watt panels in series to this all in one unit?

Running 35 feet with 10AWG wire.

Thank you for any thoughts.

3 panels are odd number, I would get 4 panels and connect them in 2s2p.
VOC 37.7V so at 2s the PV inout will be 75V, it will be higher at low temperature.
It is better to over panel the system since in real world you will not be getting 240W of power, in your case you are not over panelling at all since your system can accept >2000W of PV input.

Thank you for the responses! .... I do think I can get 4 panels and wire as 2s2p .. but am happy to know that my thoughts on a 3s would work as well. Thank you both!

My panel stand/mount is 10' long but I think I can make it 14' long .. these panels are wide at 39"

Much appreciated!
