Somewhat related... Although I can't quote a specific NRS, but I am pretty sure that in Nevada you cannot store rainwater. In fact, that is true in many states.

Unfortunately, most legislatures are far more interested in making new laws than removing obsolete laws. Time and time again, ancient laws remain on the books even though they should have been removed decades ago.
