Is there any hope for 48vdc output from the "solar generators" (e.g., Bluetti)? I think they have 48v batteries internally but only provide 120AC and 12vdc output.

A weird ask but intended application would be powering the Hotspot 48vdc mini-split heat pump, which takes 48v directly.

Build your own with a 48v battery system and you can do whatever you desire. You just need a charger for 48v, 48v battery, maybe not even an inverter if all you want to do is run the 48v AC unit. Or a small inverter if you need 115v AC.

Ever since purchasing an Omnicharge Omni20+ powerbank I've been suggesting this sort of feature to manufacturers such as Bluetti. EcoFlow, Jackery and Leoch amongst others. The response I get is 'We'll consider this in future products.' The Omni 20+ has a user-adjustable DC voltage DC 5.5x2.1mm with range from 5v to 25v in 0.1v increments. Versatile and extremely handy.

Depending on the internal pack size they would need to do is install a reliable buck/boost converter.
