I am using 5 Canadian Solar bifacial panels. I have split them and made 2 pairs of two wired in series making 90v for the pair. All wires meet at two 3 in 1 out junction. Why does my voltage drop to 45v when I connect in the panel that is not ran In series? Any help would be appreciated.

Each parallel string should be the same. 5 panels is one of worst numbers to have since it is prime. Get a 6th panel or stick with 4.

Also, why are you trying to use bi-facial panels on the roof of an RV? Bi-faical panels are only useful if the underside is several feet off of the ground.

They were new and a good price. I didn't think I would get much use from the back side unfortunately but I wish I could. I am going to try to find another panel if I can get one to fit.

Thank you all for your information. I am going to try to find another panel that fits or if not get another mppt. I really appreciate all the input. Thanks again to everyone that replied
