I thought it looked like a Ferraz-Shawmut fuse I have with 50kA AIC (only larger)

Guess I should be grateful for the low cost of volume manufacturing; I didn't have to pay $0.72/amp for my 350A class T fuses.

Just watched the video. Looks like the switch makes quite a blast each time, more than what we see from the fuse. And the fuse only blew some of its links each time. Guess the capacitor bank didn't have enough joules to do it justice.

I was amazed with those massive Leads -- How small the last 6" of braided lead with a small bolt were that tied into the fuse
