New to the site. Never knew anything about solar until last month when I started researching and came across wills YouTube channel and his website. Thank you very much for all the knowledge shared by his channel and members of this board.

We are on Vancouver Island and will be installing this into our 5th wheel. We bought a 800w renogy kit and I've been testing with only 2 panels so far. The panels were putting out .9.5amps yesterday when it was blue bird day. Today overcast getting 2amp. Testing stages and I'm now addicted to solar. ?

Used 4/0 cabling. Going to shorten the mppt cable some so its not rats nest looking. Got a transfer switch and will hook it all into the trailer once the weather permits. Springs to not want to stay yet on nootka Island.

It's brass. Says right there at the top. It will work, but I'm not sure I would trust it for 250 amps. I relegated my brass bus bars to a system that won't see more than maybe 25 amps. I'm sure it's good for more than that as I had it in my system that fed a 1,000 watt inverter for a year.
