I have a 6000xp 3000w per leg (2 legs) how could I use all 6000w in a 30a rv ?
My original plan = run a 50a 240v 2 leg pedistool box plug a 30a adapter to 50a plug .. plug in.my 30a shore cable into it (i was way wrong 30a adapter eliminates a leg plus 240v would mess up rv )

Can I split the circuit breaker into 2 seperate sections ? Run 2 30a cords to two 30a pedistool boxes .
Section 1= microwave and fridge , tvs ,etc
Section 2 = a/c ,water heater

Or what is the easiest way to do this without extension cords to each item ? ??

Nothing is mounted on rv everything is in a connex (shipping container ) about 20 ft away .

Thanks gents im trying to learn as i go and your knowledge is priceless

I cannot find any videos on how to do this since 6000xp is so new .

I’d want to wire it with a 50 amp RV AC/DC distribution panel.

50 amp RV is split phase With 50 amp L1 120 volts going to half the circuits and an additional 50 amp L2 120 volts going to other circuits, but unlike US household builds, both legs are never wired together to make 240 votls.

This would be one 50 amp plug coming in, and if you got a 30 amp adapter to plug in at a campground who only had those.

I think this is what you’re asking. I also see some other problems you’d need to address, but I picture this being a complete rewiring form the RV in to the distribution panel.

make sure you understand this before installing the 6000xp in an RV
