The Smart Load port (Gen Port) on the 6000xp or 12000xp can start and stop loads attached to the Smart port based on the state of charge per the manual.
Can I hook my 4500W hot water heater to the smart port and expect that this load can be shed so that the 6000xp can start a 3 ton AC unit. How smart is this port?
I want it to automatically load shed large low priority loads when priority loads attempt to start.
