8S 24V CONFIGURATION - BMS CONNECTION

I have a Daly 500A 24V smart BMS that has 2 B - (blue) cables to connect to the negative pole of the battery. My cells (280Ah) will be arranged as an 8S configuration (see attached file with diagram circled in red). Can I put one of the B- cables to terminal 1 ( in red with blue cable already shown) and the other blue B- cable to terminal 2 ( label in red). If so, do I have to run another small wire from terminal 1 to 2 for the negative sampling wire?? I would like to do this since the cell terminals are only M6 and not very tall to fit both B- terminal rings onto it.
