I placed an order for the GridBoss and Flexboss21 from a reseller for EG4 and they claim it is on backorder (never mentioned this until a couple of weeks after order was placed on Dec 2). I contacted a couple of other resellers like Signature Solar and they have had it in stock. I then contacted EG4 and one of their people said they have it but not sure if there is an allocation issue for that vendor. They requested I send them any details or email conversations with the vendor, and they would escalate to management. I forwarded the email conversation with the vendor to EG4 on Dec 31. However, I never received a reply from EG4 that they received my email (shows sent on my end). I sent another email to EG4 earlier today requesting a status. After several hours passed, I tried calling multiple times but get rolled over to VM.
It is sad enough that the reseller I ordered from was not honest regarding availability. Now, I have to go thru hoops to try and get a straight answer from the manufacturer. If anyone here works for EG4, maybe they can shed some light on what is going on and if anything can be done to save a potential customer.
