Hello everyone. I am about to pull the trigger for large order (about $10k) for 302/310ah CATL/EVE cells. here is what I need to know before I do this.

1- I was not able to find even 1 seller that wanted to do PayPal payment. Most of them said TT or Ali Credit. My question is does anyone know Supplier that takes PayPal payment?

2- do we have direct factory contacts, why do we have to work with third party ? I talked to someone from EVR they told me they don’t work/have a contract with Basen. ?

3- is it really this bad ? We can’t find one trust worthy Chinese compnay that takes our money but sells us decent cells with integrity?

that is all the questions I have I am sorry if it’s too long.

I know some of us even sell these cells if you have please reach out to me too.

thank you all

Shenzhen Luyuan doesn't accept PayPal. You would do good to buy from them and pay using the methods they do accept. By far.

Alibaba limits transactions to 5K USD is what Amy mentioned to me. So you will have to most likely have a split order.

I'd order from Amy even though I purchased from Basen before the reports came rolling in where batteries were obviously low grade B.

But if you have your heart set on 310Ah, she might not be able to help you.

Amy (Shenzhen Luyuan) does take PayPal. I just placed an order last week.
Good to know, thank you. She didn't accept PayPal in January. It would have made my transaction a WHOLE lot easier. Photos of passport and credit card, two days delay for authorization, and even more fun things!

Following up on what others have said. Just placed an order with Amy, and she said her current payment forms are "Credit card, PAYPAL,CC and TT are OK" ... "in fact, PAYPAL has no limit on the amount of money."

Not much savings after 16 pcs, ONLY ONLY ONLY pay with credit / paypal even if you pay more / item do it. Have multiple small orders I guarantee if you pay with wire they will send you Dog excrement wrapped in blue vinyl and neither they or alibaba will care.

Only time Alibaba cares or even attempts to is when it is a credit card/paypal order because they know they will loose.

WOW Broad Brush sweep there ! If one uses a Known Good with Lots of experience vendor then you will be ok. Select any random vendor based on price, is a Roll of the Dice. Use the Broad Brush for Painting only and not casting a whole group with "muck". IF you had a Bad Experience then name the Vendor - the issue and move on.

I speak from Personal experience with:

Deligreen, Xuba, Basen and PWOD. Those are 4/6 vendors that have screwed me over. That qualifies as broad brush. When you are buying from Aliexpress/Alibaba you are playing at the casino and the odds are against you.

PWOD sent me 144 cells 310ah all swollen and I can’t even connect the provided bus bars:

After I asked many suppliers, yesterday I ordered 32pcs of CATL 302Ah (310Ah) from Hayley of Dongguan Lightning. I am very sure that the CATL provided by them is ture. She showed me the original QR code of the CATL battery. , And also have their own test capacity data, the capacity is 320Ah! incredible. She was very patient and helped me solve many problems. And they also accept paypal payment, hope this information may help you

if cells have the the QR code in a different location than below the safety valve than the original code was scratched to hide date of manufacture and real capacity test, because either the cell is too old (you will see rusted connectors to certify this) or the cell is swollen.

If you press a little on the same cell you will notice the location of the original QR code and also visible.

and under the mark is the original QR code from CATL that is scratched and production date hidden :

Same for me, hundreds of 310ah fake batteries have the original laser engraved QR code that testify the production date, battery model and capacity, scratched and a new fake painted QR code in the corner.

All cells that have the QR code in the corner are the same, with the same issue and you can easly know by pressing a little on the part of the original laser engraved scratched code in the middle between safety valve and brown connector. I found that this lot of cells are from 2018 old cells and that are refurbished and sold as new ones to buyers that can be fooled .

I saw that the QR code is intact in their company's products and it is near the safety valve. I guess I am lucky.

Yes , in pictures from PWOD was the same for me but I received 32 batteries without any QR at all (just scratched) and 112 batteries with fake painted QR code in the corner .

Ask them to agree the terms of shipping only grade A.
They all send this bad quality because disputes states to return the batteries on your cost that is from your location $1000 because they have incentives and ship for free for them but not for us to return.

If any of things below is not in parameters the battery is Grade B :
