I just saw this:

I guess they decided to up the capacity? Nice renderings, no actual product yet, but "modular" seems cool. What about the EP series though? There's a lot of overlap here, unless Bluetti is pivoting away from the recently announced EP models and going with the "crate" form factor AC series. Or Bluetti has a bunch of new products they are launching all at once. "Launching" in the crowdfunding sense. I wonder which ones they'll actually ship though.

Fast forward to one year from now and there are going to be a ton of higher capacity, mid-size portable-ish options.

That AC300 looks back-breakingly heavy... EP series has wheels!

More detailed info here:

Note the AC300 by itself has no batteries, but it’s modular - you can hot-swap additional battery modules. But each battery module has some DC outputs (no inverter). Interesting concept - it splits the difference between a self-contained power module and a DIY build.

Even more important these are all going straight to retail without crowdfunding. But expensive for sure.

Another compelling option if there is no hardware authentication is an AC300 base unit and DIY batteries.

I just noticed that the B300 battery is 74 lbs. - yikes! Having wheels like the EP500 and the Delta Pro makes a lot more sense when things start getting this heavy.

Prices released today...I was on the fence with purchasing the AC200 but now that the Max is the same cost, it's a no brainer to wait.

Better yet, maybe there will be a sale on the AC200P. $1700 is a nice deal for the MAX though, considering it's the actual price and not a kickstarter. That may be a pre-order early bird discount, but at least it's a real pre-order and not a "pledge."

But imagine if AC200P goes down to $1500. Hmmmm.

Strange. I got a similar pricing email from Bluetti today and it has an image of the b230 at $1199 instead of $1249. Other prices were the same as what goodr189 posted above.

They are incredible innovate with their product and schedule. They are ahead of all their competition if they can deliver on time. The max seems to fix most of the previous weak point ans short coming of AC200P.

I'm heavily debating the AC200 Max and the Eco Flow Delta Max. Anyone have opinions between them? Specs are relatively similar, price-per-watt is about the same, though the EcoFlow is considerably lighter (NMC vs LiFeP04 - but 800 cycles on NMC at my expected usage is still many, many years) I think it boils down to reliability/build quality, warranty, and the subtle-but-important features and usability.

It looks like EcoFlow AC charging is just an IEC connector, whereas the Bluetti is an external charger - so that's a consideration (replacement/spares). I'd like to pick up multiple units - so having the ability to use the B300 battery interchangeably with both the sized Bluetti units is nice.

For emergency use or camping, Delta Max… for running a daily cycle as part of a solar system, AC200 Max. Both look really good but the Bluetti lacks UL listing if that makes a difference.

Being able to charge quickly from a nearby L2 car charger, and not having to worry about an external AC power supply, weigh heavily in the Ecoflow’s favor for that use case IMO. Plus wheels and a handle vs. a big heavy box.

How does one become a member? I logged into my Bluetti account, but there is absolutely no information about these new products there. I have locked in on the new 3000w Ecoflow DeltaPRO, with extra battery. If the Bluetti 3000W + extra battery will be $2899 .. that's a lot less money, like a grand.

HoboTech did a review, and he said the AC300 does have its own internal battery. So it does, or doesn't?

No internal battery listed in the AC300 specs per Bluetti:

AC300 is only sold as a bundle with the B300 battery, maybe that’s what Hobotech was talking about? I haven’t seen his video on the AC300.

Maybe Bluetti is wrong about their specs, because apparently they also can’t spell “September” correctly.

Weight comparison with the new AC200 Max somewhat gives it away, but they do state "No Battery Inside." Kinda expensive for just a modular hub unit.

I don't know why Bluetti makes the specifications so hard to find. I have scrolled through your link 3 times and STILL can't see that the AC300 doesn't have the battery. Imma just take your word for it. The combo is still a good price point. Much better than the Titan. Pretty competitive with the EcoFlow.

(finally found it on the 4th pass .. at the bottom of the page. I still hate the Bluetti hides stuff. *shrugs*)

Thanks, mate!
