I am building the small system that Will Prowse says only 30 minutes to assemble. The basic components are an Eg4 3000 EHV-48v Inverter/Charger and an Eg4 LifePower4 V2 Lithium Battery = 48V 100AH. What I want to do is add 3 12v 150 AH Lithium batteries that I have on hand. How can I do this?

Gotta have 4 identical 12V batts to do that. But to mount 4 batts on a hand truck would be a big PIA. The key point of that video is to be dead simple and use identical or very similar products. As soon as you change the components, you're outside the scope of that video.

See page 65: https://eg4electronics.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/EG4-3000EHV-48-V2-Manual.pdf

That unit runs on 48V nominal, and cannot operate at 36V nom.

Yes, I that's what I figured, but was hoping there would be a way to fold them into the system. It would add 5Kwh+ to the system.

They are on sale over on e(vil)bay for a couple more days (coupon code). Buy another and see what you can do.

While you are at it, get yourself a balancer. (same couple code)

Maybe not on a hand truck, but maybe on a heavy duty garden wagon. (same coupon code)
