Hello all! I’m new to the forum and have been doing research for a solar install. Watching you tube and have read Will Prowse’s book several times. I’m adding solar to my 2018 Thor Freedom Elite 26HE. I have my list of material made out, but my RV has an auto transfer system. Where do I place the inverter? The inverter I am installing is an Aims 2200w inverter with charger and ats. I was told to place it between the transfer switch and rv breaker box ac line so it will turn on when no ac it detected, and turn off when connected to shore power, or generator is running. The Aims inverter has in and out hard wire ac connections. I would also have to disconnect or turn breaker off to onboard converter. Does this all sound feasible?
