Gate mounmounted 144 cell panels that swivel on hinge mounted to heavy farm gates that can be adjusted from summer too winter. Used scrap 4 1/2 inch galv., pipe with tie on top like a close line with welded 1 inch pipe for hinge with gates concreted to ground 4' deep. It's held up through many high winds so far with cinder blocks and rope holding it down . The Bright Mount from Signature Solar on movable hay wagon using 4x6 hard maple timber cut from saw mill. The Bright Mount holds 4 395w 144 cell panels with no problem. The mounts are bolted through the timber. The timber is chained to the frame . It rolls by hand easy and makes it non- permanent. I usually have it facing south and in the evening roll it over to the west. I like the price of the Bright mount. Mine are the older version that don't tilt so I may use wood blocks under 1 side of the trailer to prop it up a bet for summer use. They can be moved in the barn if hail or big storms come my way. I have 2 more wagons to mount panels as well as 2 more Bright mounts to us up. You can't beat the price for this BM system. They save a lot of time.
The gate under the panels shown was temporary but chained under in both ways to keep it from moving. I think the mounting systems out there are very salty so is why I did my own thing. The combiner box came from 24/7, I think they offer the nicest package, thanks to Will's info. Used 224 aluminium underground to run to split phase inverter. At 158' don't see much of any loss. I may change the pole mounts over to wagon mounts in time as I like them being a non structure idea.
