Finally finished up top charging and then top balancing 8 280AH cells from the 18650 Battery Store. Top balanced to 3.65V and took them off of the charger last night. I was surprised to see them at 3.605 this morning. I would have expected them to drop more? They are still in 8P.

It's going to be a few days before I can get them in the RV. Should I leave them in 8P in the meantime?

Thanks...this forum and the FAQ on how to top balance has been fantastic.

Disconnect them so that you can see the any differences in self dischage.

Q: What is top charging and how is it different than top balancing?

Should settle down to 3.45-3.5v.

That’s why many people set a low charging voltage for their pack, no need to try and push >3.5v unless you’re trying to balance them.

Got delayed a few days. About to put these into service.

One cell has a bit of a deviation from the rest. Any cause for concern?
