I installed my aili bat monitor in between the
neg bus bar ( all - batteries ) and my 6000watt
inverter ( neg side input)

the monitor works great
Shows voltage
I adjusted the batt ah in the settings
Shows amp draw
Full battery is allready programmed to 100%

Now my problem
After using ( discharge) , my inverter batt % goes to
50% ( for example)
So the next morning the charge controller starts charging the batteries
But the % on the monitor stays at 50% , it doesnt go to 100% ( full charge batteries)

am i missing something here??

You DO have your SCC negative hooked to the same place that you have your inverter, right?
Or, do you have it hooked to the battery directly?
For the monitor to know that you are charging the battery, it has to see the charge going in.
AND, you did hook it up with the B to the battery, and the P hooked to EVERYTHING else?

thnx for the reply

wiring is 100% ok
Found a video on you tube and looks like i need to
program my 0% by draining the batteries
and then the aili will do the math and figure out my 100% by itself

hope this is the solution

Does the AiLi battery monitor work in both directions i.e. charging increases SoC, discharging decreases SoC? Just heard anecdotally that it only works one-way.

Also, I'm assuming you have a lithium-ion battery ... the AiLi battery monitor does not account for the puekert effect so will be highly inaccurate if you draw heavy loads e.g. more than say 30A, on a lead-acid battery.

Got it working today
I had the charge controller connected to the neg bus bar instead of connecting it to the P side of the shunt
Works like a charm
I can see voltage
When it charges , when drawing amps and also
Battery %
Only drawback i have now is the amp hours(ah)
limits to 999 and i have 1140ah in total
So i need to figure a way out how to keep this in mind
Im very happy with it
