Sorry if this is not relevant for US - But Im guessing Aldi US sell the same Workzone/gardenline power tools from time to time with similar priced 18 - 20V 4AH xfinity batteries (or possibly branded differently. Ive bought the 4AH battery packs for between $25 and $40 Australian depending if its on clearance after the sale and found even at $40, this has by far been the cheapest way to buy good 18650 cells in Australia. You might have more options in the US though. Can often buy the chargers for $10 and convert to make adaptors to use these on other equipment with the same voltage with a dead battery pack for that tool at the other side - or screw the charger to that tool to convert the battery type permantly as the charger is only small. This does involve moving one of the pins in the charger and in the later ones it involves making a hacksaw cut or melting the new pin in place after separating in half by removing the torx screws. They have a seperate charging and positive terminal slot.

Im also looking at reconfiguring some of these into 12 volt battery packs for 12v camping equipment. They are currently 2x sets of 5 in series with nickell strips. This will involve cutting the nickel strips and soldering the strips together in some instances to make groups of 3. Will also have to get a new BMS to suit.
