I found this forum after buying possibly Liitokala cells from global power on AliExpress. Advertised as "new Grade A" they have the code ground off and every cell has some swelling. I've disputed the "new Grade A" under "counterfeit". This may have been a mistake and Ali are only offering 3 days to claim a 5% refund.
These are supposed to be 200AH cells and have about 1/8" to 1/4" swelling on each side. One is swollen on one side and concave on the other.
Can anyone tell me if I bought a dog? And if so what breed and how old? Are they really Liitokala? Can I use them with any safety? Is that sticker fake?
I note that the "liitokala" stickers point to a dodgy looking site at "www.liito-kala.com" that has no mention of prismatic cells, and a non existent site at "littokala.aliexpress.com".
