I've got an JK PB2A16S20P BMS as well as an "RS485 to TTL" board, that has RX, TX, VCC, and GND as input. I've also got a bunch of ESP32, ESP8266, Raspberry Pi, and so on laying around.
I tried forwarding the serial communication on baud rate 9600 and 115200 with an ESP32, but I was not able to get the JK BMS software on Windows to pick it up. I can see it sends a command every second or so, as the RXD LED on the RS485 to TTL board blinks.
Is there an alternative way? I see plenty of people integrating their BMS into Home Assistant and so on, so I figured someone must have found a way to eliminate the Windows application.
