These things are way too brittle to drill into, or make cut outs. I've found purpose made brackets for this kind of job, but I don't think they're going to work.
I think the height stand off is not high enough to clear my tiles, and the edges of the tiles have a lip, so I really don't think these are going to be any use to me.
