Another one of my victron battery chargers went postal voltage reading wise.
This is the 2nd one to do this. The first one was the charger for my 12v inverter system. The second failure aka the one that just messed up charges my bmw x5 to maintain the battery since I don't ever go anywhere these days.
Both chargers still charge if you can set the voltage high enough on them. They just don't read the correct voltage for what is connected to them. Also these chargers run a good bit so they are seeing use more than maybe some people might use them.
Today's failure is showing 13.88 volts when the actual battery voltage is 13.3v. The first one is off by almost 2 1/2 volts now.
I can at least keep using them by setting the charge voltage up high and letting home assistant switch them on and off as needed. Not a good pattern though.
All of my other victron equipment works wonderful but the dedicated ac to dc chargers not so much.
At this point I would have to fall into the not recommending them to people.
