The newbie in me is planning to upgrade my solar setup on my Grand Design 320G toy hauler.
I want to learn and install the upgrade myself.
I have 1 190w panel from Go Power that was installed by the RV dealer. 12v panel, the controller gets ~24v off the panel. (I assume the panel is 2 12v internal panels sending down 24 volts? I want to buy 3 more 200w panels. Also, 12v with Voc of 24.3. Imp of 9.8a. (looking at the Rich Solar 200w 12v panels - LINK)
If I run the 4 in series, I should expect just under 97.2v and approx 10a to the controller? (under perfect sun conditions?) I have a Victron 100v/50a solar controller. I also have 2 100ah Lithium batteries in parallel.
Or, should I go with a series-parallel setup for ~48v and 20a?
Any help would be appreciated as I am just starting research for this upgrade.
