@smoothJoey I'm having a second thought about the physical 400A switch.

The Growatt 12kw has a switch (On / Power Saver / Off) on the front of the case. So do I really even need the external BEP Pro 400A on/off switch on the battery cable?

You can ditch the switch.
You should precharge the caps in your inverter using a resistor though.

OK. Back to this design. It's been almost 10 months, but we've finally started.


@John Frum (or others). If I do not use an external switch, and I use a pre charge resistor, if the switch is off in the inverter, will the capacitors get charged. Or does the internal inverter switch need to be on to charge the caps?

From memory it depends on the inverter.
