Any benefit to connecting the Growatt SPF3000TL LVM-48P to the LifePower4 48V Battery versus using the battery's BMS alone?
Unless I am mistaken, in order to use the windows monitoring SW, the dip switch has to be set at 1000, and in order to communicate with the Growatt, the dip switch has to be set at 0000. Does that rule out the possibly of using both at the same time?
I ask because I'm leery of overcharging my battery. I just got solar working a few days ago, and left for a few hours, and when I returned the battery was at 100% with an "overcharge" alarm showing. 19 and 20 were both set at 56.0V per the recommended charge voltage range listed in table 3.7 of the EG4 manual provided by Signature Solar.
