Hi all,

Conduit rerouting advice/ideas needed, thanks in advance!

Context: Fairly new here so go easy on me :). Just doing a bunch of planning and learning before I install my Gridboss/Flexboss/EG4 indoor wall mount batteries. My plan is to have electrician handle adding Gridboss in between existing 200 amp panel and meter. And have them install a meter main combo for an external disconnect that will allow me to add whole home surge protection (worth it?) and just more flexibility for the future. I will apply for permit for ESS and do that work myself.

I the interest of making the job of the electrician simpler and avoiding issues I have had in past where electricians run conduit that is quickly done and not routed in way I would like, and/or uses whatever material they have on the truck with them, I think I need to move the conduit that is currently used to supply my EVSE (EV charger) on a pedestal mount in my driveway.

This is one of the meter main combo units I was considering. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Eaton-2...arrel-Lock-Provision-MBT48B200BTSBL/300857385 Which is almost double in width to current meter setup.

If the electrician will install that, it seems I will need to make room and move something. My thought is reroute the EVSE conduit just to the right of my existing meter.

Question:

Should I:
1. cap off that conduit where it exits and route it through new hole in front of house just around corner on right. Landscaping would hide it all from view.
2. Figure out how to run it down left side of downspout.
3. Some other ugly hack like flex over the downspout or adding spacers to downspout to pull it away from house a bit.
4. Something else? Different idea than meter main combo, move something else, etc.

Cheers
