Any electronics hobbiests want a project?

I woke up a 12v system with 3.2v/1a last week. It was nearly instantaneous. Technically, I probably just woke up the CC with enough juice to start doing its job. But I don't see much reason to wake up a battery without a charge source anyway.

Why bother with AA? 9V would be much easier. Would be great for 48V systems, 6 in series will get you 57V when they are new.... Dang it I only have 3 left.
3 in series would work for a 24V system.

I don't know about you, but I never have the $^=^@$×!! 9V when I need one. But I do have AA batteries.

Very true. Almost always realize I'm out when a smoke detector starts chirping.
