Is it any relation between size of the panels and length of solar clamps ? Didn t find any useful information about this topic searching online . End and mid solar clamps comes in different lengths :40/50/60/80 mm . Currently I am using longi Hi mo x6 585 w solar panels , size 1,13 m with 2.28 m . What length of mid and end solar clamps would you recommend?

Is it the width or height of the clamps? I’ve only seen different lengths to match the thickness of the panel frames…
Heights depends on the thickness of the panel frame . I need some advice about the length that matter only in the surface of contact with the upper part of the frame . Will try to send a photo

For a given manufacturer of mountings I have only seen one "size" of mid and end clamps - i.e. the ones designed for the mounting system.

The PV panel's installation manual should detail what is required in terms of number of clamps and positions depending on wind loading.

Thanks everyone for the help , I will search for the manual of installation of the panels .

Most clamps have a fixed range of panel thicknesses they can clamp down and are specific to the mounting rail.

Here's one I found on Amazon that allows for a range of panel frame thicknesses which is pretty handy.
