I got all the parts in and wired the pack up. Once I remembered how to read switch diagrams, it was pretty straight forward. Now I have the pack with the buck converter set to 14.8V and a 3 position toggle switch. One position sends voltage to one battery and the other position sends it to the other battery. The middle position was tricky but I got it set up so it allows the battery to charge in the middle position but then disconnects the charge lead when I am resetting the batteries. This prevents a loop of it charging itself.
I may end up just mounting the setup in the battery compartment.
