Anyone know about powmr inverters?

You're clearly not counting quality when evaluating "deal." If you want to buy reliability and capability, you eat it and go with Victron or other Tier-1. EG4 Luxpower units are a decent step under that. Everything else is low end.

99% sure PowMr is a rebranding of an SNRE.

I have the PowMr 24/3000W version. Very high self-consumption Expect that one to consume about 125W 24/7 meaning the first 3kWh of battery and PV is basically gobbled up by the AiO

The unit you linked is likely prior generator as it is limited to 150Voc on the PV. Most newer versions are 450V-ish.

PowMr is just a rebranding company. All of their inverters are made by someone else (SNRE, Deye, etc). Victron is tier 1, but, it is often said that you can buy 3 of anything else for less than the price of a Victron. If I were in a boat or a nuclear bunker, I'd want a Victron. Then again, if I were in a boat or a nuclear bunker, the price of a Victron probably would be unimportant. It's a roll of the dice w/ PowMr. Some people have good luck with them and some people don't. For those that have good luck, they come out financially ahead.

i saw some utuber say tech support was chinese so passing. actually looking at SGP's LF inverter, what tier are they?

Allot of the LF's are power pigs. I have a classic MagnaSine LF and its tough. But it gets crappy gas mileage. I also run Victron multiplus II. They are way more efficient then any other LF by a long shot but they don't have as much mega power "grunt" with giant balls. Still way better then an HF but they are a compromise. Victron runs a toroidal transformer vs classic laminate core transformer found in most LFs.

I don't think the LF models that PowMr are offering are SRNE (Note to all you folks that keep using SNRE, stop it!) but rather are Sumry that seems to offer many LF models to the Euro standard. The Pow Mr relabel has only been out this year so hard to figure much out about it. I have not seen anyone review it here at the Forum yet. Some have questioned whether it is a real split phase unit or not.

Issue with LF models is efficiency and not so much idle current. Often they are way below a equivalent rated HF model. However when it comes to starting motors the LF have the edge thanks to the large transformer output.

EG4 and Victron are not really in the same categories of equipment. Victron are designed for the Boat and RV markets. EG4 is a relabeled Luxpower.

Looking at this one:

Seems like a better deal than eg4/victron
A bottom shelf item. Well, Vevor maybe even lower, but not too much. Compromises on everything. From time to time I watch youtube repair shop videos. One of the more frequent patients, together with allpower, voltpolska, easun, anern and friends...
