Hi
I received my Bluetooth enabled LiTime 100AH battery today and am trying to register an account so I can use their Bluetooth app (android).
What a stupid system....
It gives an option for entering an email address and two fields to put a 6 to 20 character password. It also has a button to "Get Code".
Well there is no place to put the "code" if it even arrives in time to enter it. It just times out before you get the email.

Why even ask for an account to be registered? Only so they can track you and sell your data to third parties?
Are there any other apps that can be used?

What a let down on first use....

If you decide to explore alternative apps, ensure they are compatible with your specific LiTime battery model.

Yep, just got my battery and sure enough the registration doesn't work. I hoped it was some kind of temporary registration issue but it looks like it's permanently broken. I'm really disappointed in LiTime and will be sending this battery back. I've spent $1,500 in the past year on their batteries but I'm done with them. Just goes to show that you can create a good battery but if you can't support it with software it's still a fail.

Just tried myself. Same deal. I get the code immediately but entering does nothing. I’ve created accounts at the website but using those credentials in the app just result in being told the account doesn’t exist.

Just got two batteries. Same thing. That's a lot of money for something I cannot read via Bluetooth. I sent them a note. We'll see if they have a suggestion on how to access the battery. Charging them now.
UPDATE: Ok, I have a .NET email and it would not send a code. I used a GMAIL.COM email and I got the code and it worked. I guess you need a .COM email account.

Just got a LiTime 51.2V 100Ah golf cart battery. When I go to check the cell status I get this silly cartoon. Is there an alternative app that will show the voltages of individual cells?

Agreed, they should.

However, as I found, there is a VenusOS (Victron) 3rd party plugin that can do BT batteries and can read the LiTime data, including cell voltages, temp, etc.

that's not an app for phone though, right? W9GFO i'd like something more detailed. also can be connected to multiple batteries at once.

Same here .net email address wouldn't let me register but .com email address worked. Thanks MikeyM

I used to get the silly cartoons that at least said the battery was working, but now just get a login screen that tells me my email or password is incorrect. I've checked it multiple times and can log in on my laptop to the website, but the iphone app doesn't seem to recognize the password. Very frustrating, as I can get absolutely no information any more.

Edit: got results from support. Was able to reset password and now it seems to work. They do not currently have capability on the app to report individual cells, but they "are working on it"
