I agree with eggo. If you’re not directly interacting with the grid and selling back, skip ESS. With it turned off, you effectively have an “off grid” inverter where grid power is only passed through the inverter to the loads (or to the battery if you have charging enabled).
If you utilize the generator start/stop feature of the Cerbo, you can remotely change AC input parameters when your away from home.
