Avoid dealing with signature solar. Bad website.

I wanted to warn people to avoid dealing with signature solar. The website is horrible.

I asked it to show me what microinverters they have and this is the result:

It a disconnect tool for all solar panels not microinverter. Also, if its a tool, it should be listed as a tool not as a MicroInverter.

there is just 1 example, it pulls up tons of random junk that are not microinverters.

Here is another "microinverter" from their website. Just horrible.

Looks like some sort of plug.

Looks like you modified the search results to show the most expensive stuff first. If you just do a search without that, you just a bunch of random junk being advertised as Microinverters. As to fool people into buying random junk which have no ability to do what a Microinverter is suppose to do.

I am warning people that their so called " Microinverters" are not Microinverters.

Someone who does not know any better might buy one of these things expecting it perform as a microinverter.

These Chinese sellers do stuff like that all the time. They act like you are buying a car but instead they send you like an air freshener for a car.

I am surprised to see an American company doing the same thing.

His link clearly shows sorted by relevance. Here's a search I just did with no sorting.

If someone can't tell the difference between a micro inverter and supporting accessories they shouldn't be ordering anything to begin with.
I don't normally stick up for SS but this thread is a bit ridiculous.

I don’t think anyone would assume that is what they are looking for and then just blindly purchase it. It is either a search engine malfunction or wording search malfunction. I have never purchased anything from Signature Solar, but I’ve seen the company mentioned many many times on this site with positive reviews. Instead of attempting to steer purchasers away from the company, perhaps it would be better to contact them directly and apprise them of your results. This would enable them to possibly correct the issue. It’s the internet. Mistakes happen. Yes, there are scam outfits out there as well…but I’d rather give a company the benefit of the doubt before slandering them as malicious.

If you navigate to them instead of searching it sorts by ascending price.

Is it too much to ask that when you ask for a list of their Microinverters that you get a list of their Microinverters and not a bunch of random items?

Those are accessories not Microinverters. Maybe you have those off to the side or under " customers who purchases these might be interested in these accessories" You don't falsely list them as being microinverters when they are not. That is just being dishonest.
