Anyone play with the ramped charging yet?

I have a SMA SI I am going to use as my remote, it has max Amp charging settings for gen and grid tied sources. Since I am going to have both my grid and gen go into AC2 ( which is the GEN input ... see thread here: https://diysolarforum.com/threads/i...bank-and-sma-si-load-center.52698/post-670976 ) I am going to change these SMA SI settings to max out for what the generator is rated for so the SI knows how much of the loads it can shift to AC1 when required vs the previous bulk only charging settings.

I have been reading the threads in relation to charging profiles re:LiFePO4 and was going to start modifying the ramped charging settings on my own rig before connecting it to the inverter and was curious if others have done yet and what settings you might have used.

Been using this but in an odd way and I am likely not "doing it right" persay ... meaning there is likely a better way to do this. I adjusted the ramp to stop at 90% and then set 90% to be 0.1A ... the theory being it will never let the battery get above 90% SOC since the loads on the system will not allow it.

I also tried to set the right voltage limited to an expected 90% SOC voltage and while it did "work" for a while some other settings while it was charging was changed and I lost coms from the core unit to the k9 unit and had to recommission the system to "fix" the issue. (fun times)

Are you powering the CORE off battery voltage? Batrium now recommends using a 24V power supply to supply power for the CORE.
