Yep them 100ah batteries are what 100lb each … the bigger ones are closer to 300lb … like ouchNew Vatrer 48V 100Ah batteries just arrived. I had no idea how heavy the batteries would be...definitely a work out.

I just got my first 280Ah and I can understand what you mean but building a system slowly and adding batteries with the rack system is very nice. The 100 lb makes it manageable.Yes. However once you discover how easy (with some knowledge) it is to assemble a larger capacity battery, server rack batteries make no sense in terms of value. But if you want to just plug and play, then yeah it's the way to go.
I need batteries, and those are tempting. Better than the EcoWorthy, right?New Vatrer 48V 100Ah batteries just arrived. I had no idea how heavy the batteries would be...definitely a work out.
A full set of 230Ah cells tops out around 145 pounds. With the BMS and other accessories, I’m in at about $1400. The server rack batteries do save some work and look better.I just got my first 280Ah and I can understand what you mean but building a system slowly and adding batteries with the rack system is very nice. Now a fully DIY big battery cells is always going to beat it on $/KW but that nice compact package is very attractive.
I am apologizing in advance to whatever delivery driver has to deliver what I assume will be my 4x boxes of 4x 314Ah cells in ~60 days.I just got another batch of 230Ah cells. The FedEx driver wasn’t too happy.
I'm with you. Except 50-280 Ah cells for me. I'm assuming that'll be at least a partial pallet though.I am apologizing in advance to whatever delivery driver has to deliver what I assume will be my 4x boxes of 4x 314Ah cells in ~60 days.
Well, I went off of Will's reviews. The price for two, on the Vatrer website, $1,780.30 USD. Seemed like an offer I could not refuse.I need batteries, and those are tempting. Better than the EcoWorthy, right?
I totally get the addiction. I love, love, love UPS setups...this is going a whole nother level. So yes, I'm confident that I will want more. The idea of have reserve power is intoxicating. Our segment of the power grid is constantly having issues...please, set me free.I love that big display. I added a USB and connected it to solar assistant. Been running good now for many months.
Warning, server rack batteries are addicting![]()
