battery build & charger questions

I have ordered Littokala 100ah cells from AliExpress to build a 12v battery to power a
small bass boat. I am planning to use the 100a smart bms from batteryhookup.com. This will provide the low temp protection.

I have been using lead acid batteries up until now. I use an onboard charger that I keep connected year round. I have been told by friends running lithium batteries in their boats that they use their onboard chargers set on the agm setting. Most use the MinnKota Precision charger.

With leaving my charger hooked up full time, does the bms cut the charge off when it reaches full charge and then begin charging again if the charge level drops? Or would the charger need unplugged or something for the bms to allow charging again?

Would it be fine to charge my battery with the an agm charger? Can anyone recommend an onboard charger that occasional wetness won’t hurt? Thanks for your help.
