What type of cable do I need to troubleshoot and update firmware with my laptop on a eg4 Power pro indoor battery? My power pro is in alarm phase and need to get more details on it....
Thank you... I have two power pro batteries. My main battery is showing the red alarm light. I have tried to reset the BMS but doesn't clear the fault. Any ideas? I received the battery in December and hanet updated the firmware. Was thinking that might help. Any ideas?

What error does it indicate? The manual indicates a short circuit if the alarm light is constantly on. If you haven't already download BMS tools and investigate. What kind of inverter is it connected to? You might shut it down including any battery breaker on it and isolate the battery. Does the alarm go off?

I have it connected to the Flexboss. I'm getting battery open fault and low voltage.... I ordered a cable to connect my laptop to the BMS to check everything....

We saw you ordered the cable already but just wanted to confirm that you would need the RS485 cable with pins 1 & 2.
Do you have the correct protocols set for both the inverter and the battery? Lithium Brand/Type needs to be 1 on the inverter.
What is the voltage on the battery?
