I have a Tracer3210AN controller. It is connected to a small 100aH battery. I noticed the default settings are perfect for the battery type except the capacity, that is set to 200aH. I don't use (or have access to a Windows PC) so I can't use the EPEver software to change the settings. I do have a modbus connection from a proper computer(?) so I could write a a small script to update this (and other settings). However, is it worth it? Does anyone know if the battery capacity setting will make a big difference between 100 and 200 aH?

It only makes a difference if your loads are only supplied by the tracer's load output or via a shunt that the tracer can monitor. If you have any load direct on the battery or bus bars don't bother.

Great, thanks. Straight off the battery for me, so grand stuff!
