Having trouble finding a disconnect that will fit 4/0 lug for my system.
2 sets of batteries, 6 lifepower4, 3 more lifepower4 with 4/0 cable to each set.
1 power wall outdoor this one has 2/0 cables. this one is not the problem.
Need any recommendation. Thanks

I just bought two of these for my project -- still in execution, so no real world experience yet My 4/0 lugs fit fine. And Peter Kennedy has great prices and great service. My understanding (I hope I'm right!) is that these can be remotely controlled, both on and off, by my BMS. However, a major plus for me, they can also be manually overridden in both directions -- so I can turn it on even if the BMS says "no" and I can turn it off for service.

If you will NOT be switching under load:

Rated for 120/240v, which is more than enough to handle 60v dc. But, the 200a breaking ability assumes AC, which goes to 0v 120 times a second. If you will not break under load (few amps ok), then it will work. I would not trust it for an emergency cutoff.

This question gets asked with some frequency and from what I've seen it always plays out pretty much the way it's playing out here. There just isn't that many options, particularly when you start looking at the AIC ratings required when LFP is involved.

I use CarlingSwitch and Heinemann breakers but I've also seen mention of using Kilovac relays.

Check ebay for those too - I got my boxes for cheaper from a seller there a while back.

perfect! I'm not about to spend $425 for the midnite enclosure!

I'm assuming you just cut/drilled the box to fit the breaker mount

Was that the 500A combiner box?

The midnite dc disconnect enclosures include one ot two mnedc breakers so that's part of the reason they get up there in price.

I felt the same way and yep I just cut out a slot with my dremel tool for the breaker. Thing is built like a tank and heavy.
