Hi

I have four Vision EP-EV305-360A-AM Batteries wired together in series. Giving me 24V 8.6kWh.

Can I safely expand this battery bank with any other additional 24v bank wired in parallel or do I need to stay with the same make/model batteries?

Thanks!

As long as the expected charging voltage profiles are compatible I don't think there will be any issues with mixing batteries.

My suggestion is to use a battery of the same brand and model. Batteries of the same brand can ensure that the manufacturing process of the batteries is consistent, and the same model can ensure that the discharge rates of the batteries are consistent. Of course, many people will choose to mix batteries (partial) but pay attention to only using the form of parallel connection, and then do not mix batteries of different chemical properties, this is the most important.
