I received excellent service and very quick shipping from Battery Hookup for my 16 3.2v 280ah Lifepo4 batteries + Accessories! @ $70/cell purchase. The batteries will be used for my DIY Yixiang 15kwh 280ah lifo4 battery build today.

They were OOS for a while then the Envision showed up and magically disappeared before the BF sale.

(Edit - I have a problem, I check cell retailers multiple times a week...)

Yeah, really two possible explanations: they either sold out at that price, or they're waiting till after Friday. I don't know, knowing the guys who run the company they would delist them. They were certainly another excuse to inch toward financial ruin. I have two BMSes in the box here, wouldn't even need to buy one.

What has been the experience or reputation of battery hookup versus 18659 store, so far?

-18650 store has the 280ah cell $75 with the “double lug” stud….any experience with these?

-I see B/H has the envision 280 listed 4X at $78 each, with m6 studs. Any experience with the Envision cells?

I have 16 Envision AESC 305Ah "b" grade from 18650 a while back along with 32 EVE and 16 REPT from Docan.
I'm happy with all of them.

I've ordered various things from Battery Hookup and have been happy. I emailed them about the Envision 280Ah's a month(s) ago, they are brand new old stock. I wouldn't hesitate to use them; it has taken a lot to resist the temptation to order more cells....

I sent Amy at Luyuan a message, I’ve bought good cells from her before, wanted to get a comparison of all three at this point….
…..but have never bought from either 18650 or battery hookup. Forum search both, some mixed results on both. From reading search results, it seems most are happy with the envision cells.

Battery Hookup is pretty clear about what they do. "Hey we found a deal on used/rejected/overstocked/mis ordered batteries" and that's all.

You have to know what you're getting from BHU. But for what it is, their markup is minimal and they have the best prices that I've been able to find. I bought 4x 16 lf280k packs from them with bms's and a bunch of usb to uart interfaces.

You can get even better prices picking up in person. They're about 1.5-2hr from me and I find it's worth the trip.

I've watched stuff at B*****H*****P for a long time, my thoughts are there are allot turds at turd prices, anything remotely newish one can find plenty of other places.

My though is just wait for the typical sales like Black Friday if you want something that will have long operational life at rock bottom pricing. With the continued downward pressure on $$ per watt it going to be a challenge for the second tier sellers to have enough $$ for the overhead
